Stephanie Furdek is a Sydney-based freelance camera operator who over the past few years has been making the move from focus pulling into camera and Steadicam operating. Steph has been cinematographer on two features; Backlash now streaming on Apple TV, and Aphelion which is currently in the final stages of post production.

With a career in the film industry spanning 12 years; she landed her first job on a feature as a PA at just 17 years old. Since that first shoot she’s steadily worked her way through the camera department. Steph has worked across a range of projects including TV drama, feature films, documentary, commercials, branded content, and music videos.
 
She's also had a stint in TV news as a camera operator and editor and has always had a passion for documentary filmmaking and storytelling; she's previously worked as a camera prep technician at rental house Camera Hire.
